The Tamayura Cup is an easy-to-hold cup that stands up even when knocked down.

A wooden cup made by hollowing out a domestic zelkova tree. Each piece is carefully crafted by skilled craftsmen.
The shape is based on the shape of an egg, and the name ``Tamayura'' comes from the fact that it sways back and forth like a daruma doll that gets back up after being knocked down.

There are no weights in the wood, but the design is such that it lifts up due to the weight of the wood.

The edges are thinly hollowed out to give it a pleasant texture and allow you to feel the warmth of the wood.

The painting is done using wipe lacquer, which is applied and then wiped off, in a way that brings out the grain of the keyaki wood.

This cute cup is easy for women to hold, and will make your tea time more enriching when you want to relax.
